Is it better to use cooperation or competition to achieve success?

Both competition and cooperation play a large role in the advancement of society, both in business and non-business areas.
Success can be achieved through many different ways.
Some ways are through cooperation or competition.  Most of the time, both ways are needed to obtain success.
While some people promote cooperation as the only way to achieve success, others emphasize the power of cooperation. Intense rivalry at work or play or engaging in competition involving ideas or skills may indeed drive people either to avoid failure or to achieve important victories.
In a complex world, however, competition is much more likely to produce significant lasting accomplishments. However, one helps success to be achieved more than the other.  Success is better achieved through competition. Competition increases your effort to become successful.
People struggle harder to achieve more success than the others around them, so they get more energized and want to be better so they try harder.  In competition, people always try to oblige themselves, so they can beat others.  So, people put out their best efforts and achieve success.  Also, when people compete with another to achieve more success and beat their rival, they also try to improve themselves, so not only will they get success, but also will be a better person with experience.
If  cooperation was more involved than competition, than people wouldn’t be working as hard.
Cooperation may help someone to succeed, but that person has to work to achieve success by themself.  Also, if a person’s friend is cooperating to help that person succeed, the person who’s being helped might start focusing on the friend more than the actual goal itself.  Cooperation could be helpful and satisfactory, but without competition, it makes the person forget where he/she is wanting to get, which in this case is success.
Competition brings out the best out of people while cooperation doesn’t bring out the best of a person’s abilities because other people are helping that person to become succesful, so that one person doesn’t have to work as hard.
Competition is helps to achieve success more than cooperation does. Success is achieved differently; however, competition helps people to achieve success more easily than cooperation does.
Competition helps people to make an effort while cooperation lets people just dawdle around.  Success isn’t easy to achieve, so competition helps to make a person realize he/she has to struggle and fight for it, so competition is better.
Cooperation would only help people to waste time fooling around and not get work done, especially if he/she is with their friends.

Cooperation may get some work done and use some effort while competition lets people give it their all.  Competition helps achieve success more than cooperation does.
